FIDPA Endorsement

The FIDPA endorsement is an official designation awarded by The Federation Internationale de Poker Association that provides a way for the poker industry and its players to immediately identify you as a FIDPA partner.  FIDPA partners connect and strengthen the international ties needed to maintain the integrity and the growth of poker, worldwide.

Who is eligible for a FIDPA endorsement?

 Legal card rooms, poker tours, tournaments, leagues, events, organizations, federations and products that operate with a commitment focused on broadening and increasing participation, within the poker community, on a global level, are eligible for the FIDPA endorsement.

What does a FIDPA endorsement mean?

Recipients of the FIDPA endorsement are recognized throughout the poker world for their efforts to increase participation and to promote poker, as a fair and enjoyable game. As a FIDPA endorsed partner your organization will receive the benefit of displaying the FIDPA™ and THE IP RULES™ logo, on all marketing communications vehicles, including, but not limited to; Websites, Marketing materials, Advertising (print, electronic, direct mail, etc.,) On site (casinos, card rooms, tournament venues, leagues and events,) Media materials (press releases, fact sheets, etc.,) Newsletters (print and electronic).

The FIDPA™ and THE IP RULES™ logos are registered trademarks of The Federation Internationale de Poker Association and are easily recognized and trusted by the poker industry, as well as the poker players, worldwide.  The FIDPA™ logo provides the assurance of professionalism and fairness, which allows consumers to make educated and informed decisions, when presented with today’s many options concerning them as a poker player.

Card rooms, tournaments and leagues displaying THE IP RULES™ logo provides players with the assurance that the management staff operates and complies with “The International Poker Rules.” Along with the use of the FIDPA™ logo, players are reassured that the management and its staff are fair, knowledgeable, trained and operates efficiently, providing the most enjoyable, player-friendly environment.

The FIDPA™ logo speaks directly to the public and is the most informative, efficient, and cost effective means for advertising that immediately identifies your commitment to fair and responsible business practices within the poker industry for its players.

What is the fee of a FIDPA endorsement?

FIDPA is an international, independent association and in order to cover administrative costs, there is a one time application fee of $100 US Dollars in addition to an annual membership fee (see below).

As an official endorsed partner, this fee includes the use of the FIDPA™ and THE IP RULES™ logos, use of “ The International Poker Rules,” including assistance with modifications, website link and presence, and a FIDPA endorsement award and related fee for administrative cost.

VENUES (Casinos, Card Rooms)

Venues that are approved for the FIDPA endorsement program shall pay a fee of One Thousand US
dollars ($1,000 USD) per card room. Thereafter, Venues shall pay an annual fee of One Thousand US
dollars ($1,000 USD) each year, per card room.

TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS

Tournaments and Events that are approved for the FIDPA endorsement program shall pay One Thousand US dollars ($1,000 US) per tournament series for each venue / location.

LEAGUES

Leagues that are approved for the FIDPA endorsement program shall pay five hundred US dollars ($500 US) per season.

FEDERATIONS, ORGANIZATIONS AND ASSOCIATIONS (Non-Profit)

Non-Profit Federation, Organizations and Associations that are approved for the FIDPA endorsement program shall pay an annual fee of One Hundred US dollars ($100 US).

PRODUCTS

ENDORSER will be able to use the FIDPA Identification, logos or trademarks on products that it sells to third parties provided that the products are submitted to FIDPA for evaluation through the FIDPA Application for Product Endorsement Evaluation. Applications must be accompanied the product and any and supporting informational materials. A one time fee of Five Hundred US dollars ($500 US) is applicable upon approval.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Service Providers that are approved are subject to an annual fee of Five Hundred US dollars ($500 US) upon approval.
